Nancy Saveedra
As a teen I was sex trafficked by my boyfriend, a gang leader. I consider it an honor and a privilege to bring my past experiences to serve on the Advisory Board of Vero Beach for Florida Faith Alliance.
Romans 8 verse 28 is a story of my life. God almighty has taken all the evil I went through when I was young and turned it around to use for his glory, his plans, and his purposes. I feel qualified for this position due to the empathetic heart I carry for the victims who have experienced similar horrendous scenarios. No one can relate or phantom what an abused individual experiences every day upon awakening unless they themselves have walked the journey.
I have been saved for the past 37 years. God has used me in the capacity of a pastor, prophet, small group leader, lady’s ministry and a Bible teacher.
My experience has opened up the opportunity for me to proudly serve in the capacity of a teacher in the Florida faith alliance curriculum. I have gone into the Gifford Center of Vero Beach, along with the juvenile detention center in Saint Lucie County.
My deepest heart’s desire is to bring forth awareness and education to parents, grandparents and to children to know the ever-present evils lurking in this world.
